  Comprehensive Plan

The Board of County Commissioners approved the Smart Charlotte 2050 Comprehensive Plan on July 20th.  The adopted plan will now be sent up to the State Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for final review.  The DCA has 10 days to review the County'ssubmittal for completion and then 45 days to review the documents if the submittal is found complete.  The DCA will use the 45 days to review the plan for consistency and compliance with State Statutes and the State's Comprehensive Plan.

Planning staff will soon be updating this website to show only the adopted documents.
